Project Overview

HLA Services provides specialist Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) testing, maintenance, and repair services across Durham University’s estate.

The contract includes twelve-monthly LEV Thorough Examination and Testing (TExT) inspections, along with responsive callouts to ensure systems remain fully compliant, safe, and operational. HLA Services has supported Durham University’s LEV requirements for the past seven years, taking full management of the contract four years ago and being successfully reappointed to a six-year contract in summer 2025.
