As part of a long-term sustainability and decarbonisation strategy, HLA Services was commissioned to replace outdated gas-fed boiler systems with modern air source heat pumps (ASHPs) at Ashington Police station in the North East. The aim was to reduce carbon emissions, improve energy efficiency, and align the building’s heating infrastructure with the UK’s net-zero targets.
