HLA Services was recently selected as part of an upgrade to Middleton Grange Shopping centre’s external Air Handling Unit. A competitive selection process by the main contractor FHP Engineering Service Solutions in conjunction with the Centre’s Operations Team, led to successful contract win for HLA Services.

The scope of the work included upgrade and replacement of the 40 year old external Air Handling Unit, with installation of local power, control and gas supply and new external ductwork.

Planning was key with this project as deliveries occur 24-7 so the unit required a quick installation by crane during a time which suited tenants. The entire install was carried out with no disruption to the centre during this busy run up to Christmas.
