Legionnaires’ Disease Update

 The control of legionella bacteria in water systems

 There have been some recent changes to the above document also known as ACOP L8, the document itself has been re released to reflect up to date changes in industry best practice and guidance.  There has been a large section removed which previously contained the “what and when to do” section of guidance and this has now been put into a new document named HSG 274.  This document is currently under consultation and will be released later this year.

It has never been more important to keep up to date with the changes to any legislation and in particular legislation that directly affects our businesses, there are not many work places that don’t have water systems in them either domestic services or in the process directly.
