HLA Services has completed the design and installation of a bespoke commercial kitchen for the Beacon of Light.

Beacon of Light is Sunderland’s most innovative sports and education facility and the first of its kind in the UK with five stories of sports halls, football pitches, informal learning spaces and state-of-the-art education suites.

The kitchen is designed to efficiently utilise the space with two key food prep areas and cleaning station. The install features a Lincat six burner oven range, chargrill, freestanding twin tank fryer all covered by a bespoke extraction canopy and custom ductwork above.

The secondary food preparation area features an electric range, commercial microwave and Rational combination oven.

The cleaning area features a large stainless steel catering sink and glasswasher.
